No: Although almond is good for your health if not eaten more than a small handful each day, it does not cause you to lose weight. However it is likely more satisfying than other higher-caloric foods and may lead to some weight loss if you are not an obsessive eater. There is no negative calorie foods else the diet industry would have long gone.
