My 2 year old daughter has swallowed a lot of gum over the past 2 weeks could that be what cause her stomach to hurt and pasty stool?

Unlikely to be pbm: Gum is no worse than any other foreign material she might eat. Some kids do bugs, dog food, moss, soil, etc.All as the explore the world using the sense of taste to program their brain. There is myth about that it could cause harm, but i haven't seen it do so in 3 decades.

Possible, but...: ...I don't think it was a great idea to give gum to a 2 year old in the first place: 2 year olds can breathe it in easily, and close off their breathing completely or partially.
