Continue iron: Although your total serum iron is improving (now at the lower level of the normal range for a woman), you still have some anemic parameters, which the red blood cell distribution width (RDW) and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC) both support. There may be reasons for this, such as thalassemia, but since these were normal on 6/18, it is likely still due to low levels of iron.

No worries: Minutes variations of RDW and MCHC on the second complete blood count are not worth your worry! chances are a third one will be back to "perfectly normal".
