Yes, follow up: You didn't mention what your hemoglobin or hematocrit were, but your MCV indicates you could have an type of anemia or a problem in your bone marrow. High platelets can go along with this -- or possibly other conditions which can lead to abnormal blot clotting. Did your own doctor order these tests, and can you not ask him/her about the results? They do need follow up.

Lab indices: We can't evaluate with just these numbers. Most of the time, borderline abnormalities are of no significance. You need to talk to the doc who ordered the test.
