Anxiety: Can't tell you that. A person can have anxious mood or a clinical anxiety disorder (like panic attacks, post traumatic stress disorder, phobia, generalized anxiety disorder etc.). Don't know which you are referring to. Regardless, having a parent with an anxiety disorder may increase chances for offspring having an anxiety or other disorder but in no way means that it will occur. Try not to fret.

Not necessarily: Anxiety is such a common human experience that we all will feel it. The degree that is required to have a diagnosis of a disorder is not high in the genetic contribution - no more than 30% is inherited. Most anxiety is from life circumstances. It is always a mix of nature-nurture. Try not to expect it - it will just add to the possibility. Best wishes.
