I have primary biliary cirrhosis and i overdosed on acetaminophen. the inflammation doesn't seem to go down for six months. is it possible to recover?

Unlikely: Biliary cirrhosis is a progressive disease to worse , best option is liver transplantation , long term progress is excellent with it .Consult at a transplantation or speak to your doctor.

See hepatologist: Pbc is an autoimmune disease of the liver, generally affecting older women and usually slowly progressive. Pbc damages the small bile ducts in the liver, the liver cells are secondarily injured. Acetaminophen (tylenol) at high levels injures the liver cells but not the bile ductules. While recover from significant liver cell injury can be prolonged, check with md to see if this be pbc flair.
