Stop worrying: I can't promise you don't have a tiny lung cancer. You're a never-smoker, you're young, you have a "slight cough" (been checked for cough-variant asthma?), and most back pain never gets a hard diagnosis. Fretting about one of the least likely diagnoses is doing you no good. If you recognize this as unrealistic, your physician can help you address cancer phobia. Work with ur dr to find real causes.

Not likely: Lung cancer does not develop with an invisibility cloak. If your cough symptoms do not resolve, ask for a ct scan of the chest. If that is negative, worry about something other than lung cancer.

Maybe: Not likely but possible. With that history, i would definitely try to get a ct scan of the chest.
