Yes: In general, l-carnitine is safe up to 2000mg/day. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16901595 it helps transfer long-chain fatty acids as acyl-carnitine esters across the inner mitochondrial membrane before beta-oxidation -- hopefully helping your cells to create more energy, more efficiently. There are no interactions between L-carnitine & zoloft (sertraline).
