Is it possible to fix the muscle in your back side, keep getting pain in butt after exercising. have been told it is not sciatica, but damaged muscle?

Back pain: I am aware of muscle strain which is a common cause of back pain. Most of back strains are self limited and will improve with time. Physical or massage therapy plus home exercise program are most useful methods of treatment.

Could be: I would suggest getting an MRI of your spine to be sure. It will let you know if this muscle issue versus a spine nerve impingement also known as sciatica.
