Red veins: Nothing is wrong with your optic nerves nor your vision. Your eyes may be irritated or you male have optic conjunctivitis.

No: No relationship between optic nerve and the vessels on the surface of the eyes in most cases. You may just have irritation on the surface---see an ophthalmologist for treatment.
