Is it true a topical estrogen & progesterone are better than pill form? if so, which topical estrogen & progesterone do you favor?

Topical E has benefi: Estrgen topically avoids the pill relaterd passage through the liver and is therefore likely less risky. With progeterone the data are uncertain. My favored estrogen is eva mist. I would still use Progesterone by mouth (prometrium).
