Get to a doctor: I would get to a therapist or psychiatrist and proceed with an evaluation. All mental illness is heritable, but from males (father) to females (daughter) is less likely than fathers to sons. If you have ruled out other medical conditions, i would review symptoms with a therapist and perhaps seek proactive forms of treatment.
