See a psychiatrist: Your concerns about yourself indicate need to see a psychiatrist for an urgent evaluation. I cannot tell from your brief question here, whether you have schizophrenia, but a psychiatrist who interviews you and reviews your history would be able to make a clearer diagnosis & offer a treatment plan. Your mother may be frightened, but a psychiatrist can still help you.

Uncertain: Some people who have intense fears may have a phobia. Having a fear of napkins alone who not lead to a diagnosis of Schizophrenia. A comprehensive diagnostic evaluation by a clinical psychologist or a psychiatrist may help to flush this out.
