A member asked:

Delaminated cartilage in knee from repet kneeling. mri diagnosed. workers comp. mild/moderate pain daily. what are my longterm treatment options?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Surgery is suggested to repair this problem but also injected stem cells . It is possible that these injuries may heal if one avoids stress that would kill the stem cells that normally go to injured areas. One could try a healthy diet, sufficient nutrients (hyaluronic acid supplements) , good sleep, and avoiding movements that irritate knee like kneeling but getting appropriate exercise.
