It really depends on your symptoms. If your knee moves smoothly, and you don't have much pain or difficulty with activity and ambulation (which I doubt at 70% loss), then you don't need to do anything-Perhaps an occasional cortisone injection. But if the pain is bad and causing you limitation in lifestyle, you may need a partial or total knee replacement

Treatment of arthritis is usually with NSAIDs, cortisone injection, hyaluronic acid injections. If these fail to relieve pain, then knee replacement is usually indicated.
