See below: Don't let him do it again. It will heal on its own, but remind him that the only thing he should place in his ear is his own elbow.

Please follow up with your Pediatrician. The ear canal and the ear drum may be inflamed. Watch for change in hearing, drainage and bleeding. Keep small objects and chemicals out of reach. All caustic agents should be stored on high shelves. Keep the poison control center number in a convenient place. Review safety proofing your home with family members and your physician.
