This is not unusual: It is not unusual for a patient to have the symptoms that you note. This may in part be due to the tumor, the surgery, and the further radiation therapy. The confusion may be related to edema around the tumor site. Sleepiness can occur if you are on steroids (decadron). If all of these complaints are a problem, you should check with your neurosurgeon or neuro-oncologist.

Craniotomy: The combination of a craniotomy and radiation therapy for a brain tumor plus age the lack of appetite and confusion it is not at all surprising to hear of these clinical findings. Hopefully with time these will resolve and you will become more comfortable.
