5 x (1/2 life): Spironolactone half-life is 1.5 hours, so that component will be out in 7.5 hours, however, it is metablized to another component that hangs around 16.5 hours, so 5x16.5 = 82.5 hours or 3 days and 10.5 hours. Then it will be out of your system. So, it depends on whether your symptoms are from the parent compound (7.5 hours) or its metabolite (82.5 hours). Good luck and best wishes.
