Zoloft (sertraline) & Valerian: Valerian may enhance sedating activity in the sertraline (zoloft), making you sleepy, so i wouldn't recommend it. Valerian and sertraline are metabolized by different liver enzymes, though. For sure do not drive if electing to use this combination. Please also discuss with your physician before using.

Yes. Risky . . .: Check out http://www.Drugs.Com/interactions-check.Php?Drug_list=2057-0, 2284-0 which mentions interaction between valerian & sertraline. Always tell your prescribing doctor everything that you're taking, whether prescription or not. Try to purchase all medications from same pharmacy so that your pharmacist can help keep track & look for possible interactions.
