Trazodone allergy: I would suspect a trazodone allergy. Since you are already on Cymbalta i suspect that you are using the trazodone for sleep. If you can't reach your psychiatrist today, then i would recommend you hold off on the medication for one day and contact him or her tomorrow for further advice. In the meanwhile you can take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) for the itching. It should also help diminish the redness. If you develop any difficulty breathing, you should call 911 or have someone drive you to the nearest emergency room. Do not drive or operate machinery until you are sure how you tolerate the benadryl (diphenhydramine).
