Well: Oral devices do not work better for certain. If your daytime sleepiness is that bad, consult a sleep dr for help. You might need another sleep study to determine settings or maybe another kind of machine. Good communication with the primary doctor is so important.

CPAP: Air pressure settings may need to be adjusted. Some devices work better than others but mostly to deliver you more comfort with use rather than efficacy.
