Self care: You should be sure to carry identification letting others coming upon you should you have a seizure. A medialert bracelet or neck charm or similar product will provide this. Make sure to let all your prescribers know what you are are taking for your seizures to avoid drug conflicts.

Precautions: Some good things to keep in mind are not to climb heights, no unsupervised swimming, and do not lock the bathroom door when taking a shower. You want to avoid situations where you can be placed in harm's way if you were to have a seizure (like at the top of a ladder).
