Hard to say: There are some forms of seizure disorder that occur in kids that will eventually disappear as they get older. Unfortunately, those that begin in late childhood may reflect a true lifelong seizure disorder. Medication can often reduce the seizure frequency in most patients, but may be needed for years if not for life.Evaluation by a seizure specialist may give you specific answers.
