No extra worry: "On Plaquenil, which works" is the key statement. Grandfather's leukemia is not related. Many cases of lupus are mild and those patients can lead full and healthy lives. Slightly low white blood cell counts do not have much effect on health. The key is to follow up with your rheumatologist and do the appropriate blood testing.
