Some people : Actually feel better when they do so as the ligament gets stretched. Yu can try it, i would advise stretching the fascia nicely afterwards and maybe rolling the arch over a frozen poland spring water bottle afterwards. Also, an arch support while running would be recommended.

Plantar fasciitis: Yes. Ok to run. Stretch well before & after. Wear well-arch supported shoes, as recommended by your orthopedic surgeon or podiatry foot doctor.

Remember: Part of the treatment for bothersome plantar fasciitis is to decreasing physical activities that may have caused or aggravated your symptoms. If you started running and this set off your plantar fasciiitis or running causes pain, be mindful that you may have to find an alternative exercise while your body is healing.
