Can the paranoia elicited by weed go away over time?

Dr. Bernadette Onuoha answered

Quitting the use of weed may eliminate the paranoia in some patients. However in some other patients, the paranoia may mark the beginning of a more serious underlying psychiatric problem. Best advice is to stay away from it especially if you are predisposed to serious mental health problems.
