If it were Group A : streptococcus, your throat cultures would have been positive for it. Group B strep can be transmitted by oral sex, but rarely causes symptoms in adults. Did your doctor test for HPV, chlamydia & all other STD's? Use a dental dam or oral condom for safe oral sex. See your OB/GYN before you have a planned or unplanned pregnancy, as GBS infection can be fatal in newborns.
