How can it feel to have your gallbladder removed?

Asleep: One would be asleep under anesthesia & feel nothing during gallbladder surgery. Laparoscopic surgery is the most common way gallbladder surgery is performed now. After surgery there would be mild discomfort ecpected for a few days and then gradual return to normal within about 2 weeks.
