A member asked:

Is it possible to have only a few chickenpox spots?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. Jenny Sung answered

Yes if vaccinated: Typically chickenpox causes 250 - 500 spots. But in someone who has received the chickenpox vaccine, sometimes fewer than 50 spots are seen.
