A member asked:

How should i go about getting immunization records?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Varies: Most states require docs to keep records for a specified length of time. In my state, this is until they turn 21 and have not been in for 7 years. My staff can retreive data if we have it. After the specified dates, the records are shreaded. If not available in the office, old school records can also have the data. Some states have a registry, but people must opt-in for their data to be stored.
