I was looking at my immunization record, and i never got a hib vaccine, which is "not compliant" apparently. what is hib? should i get vaccinated asap

Low priority now: HIB or haemophilis influenza type B was the primary cause of bacterial meningitis in the 0-4 year old age group prior to wide use of the vaccine (early 90's). It rarely struck older kids, and by their teens it was rarely if ever seen. You might find someone who would give you the series,but at this point, I would see little if any need.
