A member asked:

Is it okay to get the mmr vaccine a second time? i think i may have gotten it when i was really young but i have no way to track it or find any record of it. i am now 25 years old and need immunizations for college?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: In the USA it is routinely given at age 1 yr with a booster at 4-5 yrs and sometimes again in women who show poor antibody levels prior to planned pregnancies. Repeating the vaccine does not place you at any specific risk.
