74 year old father has melanoma, congestive heart failure and copd. what are the best forms of treatment?

Depends: Treatment somewhat depends on severity of co-morbid conditions, and severity and degree of heart failure. If he has advanced heart failure stages, then the presence of very bad COPD or advanced stages of melanoma would preclude him from advanced hf strategies such as lvad treatment. Otherwise, standard treatment with bb and acei should be attempted.
