Why not?: If he/she is healthy enough, exercise is good to improve stamina and general well being. I may not advise it in a patient with significant bone metastases. I'd be concerned about he/she falling and breaking a bone. That last part is my pesonal opinion though, i'm sure there can be opposing opinions with much validity.
