Short term;long term: If no j-tube (feeding tube), oral diet will be started with clear liquids & slowly advance to solid food. Eating small, frequent (6-8) meals is usually a good idea as is avoiding greasy and fried foods. Gradually increase raw fruits and vegetables. 8-10 cups water/day, but limit liquids with meals. Consider high calorie beverages: smoothies/supplement drinks. Pancreatic enzymes/vits may be needed
