Of course: Any drug you take has potential side effects. Why would you want to take a drug for a disease you don't have? Specifically, Insulin lowers blood sugars. If you take it when your sugar is normal, it can cause it to become too low. Low sugars can cause seizures, coma, death, heart attacks, strokes.
