A member asked:

Should the diabetic medicine lantus, (insulin glargine) be injected in the morning or evening for lasting results ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lantus (insulin glargine): Is a long acting insulin. Whatever works best for you. It does not matter. Some colleagues may disagree. For me what is important is your sugar diary, avoidance of hypoglycemia, and adjusting medication to achieve hga1c <7, and keep fasting sugar b/w 100-120, and 2 hr after eating sugar < 140.
