You can help arrest the formation of future decay, but whatever damage has been done due to your neglect will need to be addressed now. See your dentist for an exam, followup with recommended care, and brush/floss your teeth thoroughly twice a day. Refrain from sugary foods and drinks. Visit your dentist at least twice a year for a check up and hygiene visit.
