Can toxoplasmosis be hard to get?

No: Just bad luck really, you can acquire it from undercooked pork, or from cat feces (more common with outdoor cats).

Not hard to get.: Toxoplasma gondii parasite can be spread by handling feces of infected cats as well as drinking unpasteurized goat's' milk, eating under- cooked, contaminated meat or shellfish, or unclean vegetables/ fruit & not washing contaminated hands. It can be passed congenitally or through organ or blood transplant.
