A member asked:

Could someone get toxoplasmosis from eating undercooked salmon?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not likely: Toxoplasmosis is usually found in warm blooded animals- a search of the Alaska registry for diseases in animals did not come up with any fish infected with toxo and so that is likely the case from salmon in other parts of North America Here is the web site that I used- very helpful! http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=disease.diseaselist#fish
