This is what we: Call it obsessional thought . You may use couple of techniques . One is thought stoppage. This is when the thought of death comes , consciously try to stop it and when you reputedly practice it , the thought will diminish. The second is distraction. In this , you try to distract your mind from ruminating on death . Here you go out for a walk , exercise , call a friend and other active maneuvers.
