A member asked:

I get lot of sneezing everyday but im scared to death,if these violent sneeze(causing jerking forward of head)cause damage to my eye, especially retina?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See your doctor: Sneezing hard can cause a PVD or some hemorrhages either on the outside of your eye, the vitreous gel or your retina. Retinal hemorrhages from this are not very common. Please see your family doctor to look for a cause of your sneezing so you can try and lessen the attacks. The very best of wishes.
