Does quitting cannabis affect your depression?

Yes!: Initially you may feel more irritable, one of the common withdrawal symptoms from pot, but after not too long depression that was there will often improve because cannabis lowers serotonin levels and regular use makes depression worse. If you need support when it gets hard to not smoke, look into substance abuse treatment centers in your area, also see www. Marijuana-anonymous.Org.

Quitting cannabis...: ...Can affect your mood. It can make you more depressed and cause agitation, insomnia, restlessness and anxiety. Later if you stay off the substance you may feel more alert, energetic, less depressed and develop a general sense of well being. Try it , you'll like it.
