A member asked:

Are small lumps on the side of neck a prominent sign of cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: The lumps you describe might be enlarged lymph nodes. Knowing what causes their enlargement depends on more history: how long have they been enlarged, have you had a cancer of the head and neck, etc. It could be from an infection, but it might also be cancer, especially if you already have a cancer diagnosis. See your doctor.
