Two different types: Lung cancer patients should have care coordinated by an oncologist. Stroke patients are cared for by neurologists. Rehabilitation after stroke is handled by physical medicine and rehabilitation physician.

Team effort: Both conditions are best managed by a team of professionals. Stroke treatment involves primary care provider, perhaps a neurologist and rehab physician, radiology, speech occupational and physical therapists lung cancer management would include primary care perhaps a pulmonologist, surgeon , oncologist, radiologist. Pathologist.

Lung CA Specialists: Specialists who diagnose and treat lung cancer are Pulmonologists, Thoracic Surgeons, Medical oncologists, and Radiation Oncologists. Stroke specialists are Neurologists.
