Yes: You may but may not be as troublesome as you think . It may be necessary to have plastic surgery in several years after weight loss surgery.

Lap band skin: It is hard to predict if a person will have a lot of excess skin after losing weight. The more weight you lose, the more likely you will have excess skin. Also, younger patients tend to have more elastic skin that shrinks back more than it does in older patients. I wouldn't worry about it. If you end up with a lot of excess skin, be proud, because that means you were successful and lost weight!
