There are many : Things you can do. Anger management is one, but it might not be the 1st choice unless when you lose your temper you become violent. If you lose your temper and are rude or start arguments, consider psychotherapy to address both your self esteem issues and your short temper. This chould be enough to get you back on track.

Self Consciousness: The fact that you realize your insecurity leads to anger is an important insight. Anger often hides more fundamental feelings like hurt , disappointment, humiliation and shame. Consult with a clinical psychologist who can help you understand the origins of your distress and how to develop a freer attitude toward being yourself. Best.
