Plantar fasciitis: When the tissues that attach to your heel bone are inflamed, it hurts when arising from a sitting position after exercise. It won't usually be cured until you receive some treatment form a physician. In the meantime, ice it, wear supportive footgear at all times and take some anti-inflammatory medication if you can tolerate it and it is safe for you.
