Should you what?: Take naproxen? Why do you need it at all? Why take a medication that causes a headache? Surely, there are other options, especially if you need something for pain. New studies link nsaids like Ibuprofen & diclofenac to heart disease. Naproxen appears safest. But if it causes you problems, then don't take it. No such thing as free lunch. Ibuprofen or other NSAID might be better for you. Ask ur doc.

Careful: Naproxen and related drugs (nsaids) can cause fluid retention and raise blood pressure. With a history of heart failure, we usually avoid them and stick with tylenol (acetaminophen) or other things for pain. Some patients still need nsaids for pain, but watch your bp, kidneys and fluid level.
