Many: Propranolol can be incr to as much as 320 mg a day if hr and BP permit. Primidone can be increased to as much as 750 mg/day, limited initially by n, v, and ataxia (incoordination). Other drugs are: gabapentin, alprazolam, topiramate and finally, deep brain stimulation. Tremor that does not cause impairment or embarrassment does not require treatment.

I have essential tremor. I take propranolol as medication but obviously it does not help me so much. I heard there is no cure for this. Is it true?
Can I take 20mg of propranolol after I took 5mg of Amlodipine 2hrs. Ago , the propranolol is for my essential tremors and the Amlodipine is for my blood pressure?
